California Guided Pheasant and Chukar Hunts
Bitterwater Outfitters is a licensed game bird club in San Luis Obispo county. We offer pheasant, chukar, and Tennessee red quail. Hunt these birds in our 250 acre bird field full of junipers, tumble weeds and barley crop. We use a highly trained English Pointer who will be sure to find all of your birds. This is an exciting hunt for all ages and abilities.
Price:
2 Hunters, 20 Birds: $800
3-5 Hunters, 40 Birds: $1,600
Group Hunt, 100 Birds: $4,000 (Up to 10 Hunters)
Non Hunter Guest: $200 per guest

What It Includes:
Bird hunts include up to one day of hunting, dog handling, guide, and dressing of birds.
Effective July 1, 2008, the California Fish and Game Commission modified the methods of take to prohibit the use of projectiles containing lead when hunting big game and nongame species in an area designated as the California condor range.

It was a really good experience going on a hunt with Bitterwater Outfitters. I loved staying at the ranch headquarters. The operation is an old western, down to earth feel. Clayton was great to talk to and be around. Everyone that I know that has gone keeps coming back. If someone doesn’t come back, they don’t like to hunt.
